Stift Klosterneuburg is located proudly on the grounds of Klosterneuburg Cathedral just outside the beautiful city of Vienna. Klosterneuburg Monastery Winery is not only one of the oldest wine estates in Austria and in the world, but also one of the largest. With 108 Hectares of vineyard, they offer amazing sites for Riesling, Chardonnay, Gruner Veltliner, Spaetrot, St. Laurent and Rotgipfler, all spread over a large area West and South of Vienna.
Fresh style of Grüner Veltliner that screams SUMMER from the moment you open the bottle until you have the last sip of this fresh wine. Consistency throughout every sip you take and never disappoints. With aromas of pear, apple, grapefruit with just a hint of white pepper, this is one of the most freshest and crowd-pleaser Grüner Veltliner, I have come across in quite some time.
A beautiful blend of Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Grüner Veltliner, Muscat, Riesling, Welschriesling. Although seems a lot going on with al those different grape varieties to make one single wine, they managed to get together the aromas in a perfect harmony. Youthful wine, with multi-layers that keeps your palate of not getting bored at all. Granny Smith apple, peach, nectarine, lemon, lemon peel and white rose all held together by a herb like character.
I would have never imagined, I would just want more and more of a wine. I just couldn’t get enough of it. From the moment you open the bottle, it just hits you with a beautiful bouquet of violets, blackberry jam, cherry and subtle smoke. And all of those flavours they are gently transferred on the palate. Remarkable wine that you can definitely can impress any wine drinker.

''At the end of the day, you really can’t make a wrong choice.
As long as you pay attention to what it is that you don’t like about a wine
each bottle will get you closer to what you do like.
Take it one glass at a time!''
